HBO Brings Saul Alvarez vs Kermit Cintron Fight For Super Welterweight Championship Title
Saul "Canelo" Alvarez and Kermit Cintron will meet each other inside the ring on the 26th of November, 2011 in a Super Welterweight Chamionship for the WBC World title fight. Be sure to witness and catch Saul Alvarez vs Kermit Cintron live fight on HBO at 10:15pm ET.
The fight will take place at the Plaza de Toros in Mexico City, Distrito Federal Mexico. It would be a split-site tripleheader headlined which will feature junior lightweight Adrien Broner as well as Gary Russell Jr. against separate opponents from Broner's hometown in Cincinnati.
In this big showdown, Alvarez (38-0-1, 28 KO) will be making his third defense. He is coming off last month's sixth-round knockout of Alfonso Gomez on Sept. 17 in Los Angeles.

He has battled to a disputed draw with RING middleweight titleholder Sergio Martinez, been stopped twice by ex-beltholder Antonio Margarito and lost a controversial decision to former two-time beltholder Paul Williams The hard-hitting Cintron is coming off of 10-round unanimous decision over Antwone Smith in August that helped him to rebound from a 10-round unanimous decision loss to Carlos Molina in July.
