Paul Williams vs. Nobuhiro Ishida Fight

Paul Williams (40-2, 27 KO’s), junior middleweight contender will try to win this coming February 18, 2012 against 36-year-old middleweight contender Nobuhiro Ishida (24-6-2, 9 KO’s). This boxing fight will take place at theCorpus Christi, Texas and it will be shown via Showtime at 9pm ET. This is a scheduled 12 round obut.

Aside from Paul Williams and Nobuhiro Ishida fight, other fights are also scheduled on the same date. Tavoris Cloud, a light heavyweight fighter who will be facing former titleholder Gabriel Campillo of Spain. It was actually Zsolt Erdei, also a former titleholder who will be facing Cloud but due to a hand injury, Erdei backed out.

The match between Williams and Ishida is quite interesting since he will pitted off against middleweight since he is now fighting at junior middleweight. The thing is, Williams do look real frail and weak fight at this division. However, almost every boxing fan can see that Ishida isn't that much of a puncher. He's a boxer, alright but doesn't throw a lot of what he has in his arsenal. He's a perfect target for Williams since Williams doesn't need to worry about getting hit with anything major punches from Ishida.

Williams first fight was against Sergio Martinez way back in December of 2009. Since that time, Williams han't really been looking so good. Even in that mentioned bout, he wasn't precisely impressive. But he was lucky enough to have been five the decision by a questional 12-round majority decision. Last year, he was even in a terrible state but was lucky since the fight was stopped after his opponent, Kermit Cintron fell out of the ring in the 4th round and was badly injured. Williams won, alright, but that's not an impressive one.

This Feb. 18, everyone is eager enough to see what will transpire. Can Williams make an impressive win, if he does win? And to think that he will be facing Ishida, a 6'1" advesary, he might deal with this not just with all his strength but also with all his "length", so to speak, and he just needs to plod forward if he expects to raise his hands in victory from this one.

The 84th Academy Awards 2012 | Oscar Awards 2012

The month of February is the month of hearts and it's a month of stars as well! Well, as for this year, it is. Do you know why? It's the 84th Academy Awards, which will be hosted by AMPAs or the American Academy of Motion Picture Arts And Sciences! The event will take place this coming 26th of this month and it's going to be held at Kodak Theatre in Hollywood, CA! Thousands will witness the event live, for sure, and millions more will watch it over ABC in the whole of the U.S. and the world! Last month, the nominations were announced by AMPAS. This coming 26th of February, let us see who will come out as winners.

Supposedly, it was Eddie Murphy who will be slated as the emcee. However,he turned down the offer after Brett Ratner resigned as producer of the said show after utilizing a gay slur while he was talking regarding the rehearsals. But, another comedian will take place of Murphy and it's Billy Crystal, who is equally good in handling an emcee's duties and a good comedian as well. Actually, this will the be the 9th time that Crystal will host the show.

One of the most distingishable features that will take place during the event is the multiple-stage nomination process. This will take place during the presentation of such awards as Best Makeup, Best Foreign Language Film and Best Visual Effects. Specific Academy branches choose pre-nominees and then, basing on that list, final nominees will be chosen. For instance, seven Best Visual Effects pre-nominees will be narrowed down to three final nominees. From there, the whole AMPAS membership will choose the winner.
